First all their importance of country even being a genre. They also created/popularized some of the biggest gospel songs that reality brought country to what it is. Also their music is great so that too.

“Better That Way” by Charles Wesley Godwin (feat. Luke Combs) - I know this isn’t a “summer song” but I’ve been listening to it a lot since it was released in May.

“Last American Summer” by Flatland Cavalry - I know this came out a few years ago but I like “Never Comin’ Back” a lot and recently did a deep dive on these guys.

“Bottom Of Your Boots” by Ella Langley - I could include almost anything from Ella’s most recent album. So good!

“Love is Blind” by Ian Munsick - This is a great jam that kinda snuck up on me with how much I’ve liked it.

Some of Kacey’s album tracks have been hitting just right as well.

Long live Marty’s music—some music just won’t die.

I know Josh Turner had some hits during that era like with Your Man, I Wouldn’t Be A Man, Long Black Train and others. But I’m wondering if there are any other pieces from those decades that are good for just dancing to either with people or by yourself in your room.

I fell asleep listening to Pandora. I wish I could tell you the station but it was my buddy’s pandora and he just shuffled through his whole playlist. Best way I can describe it was that it sounded like country rap and the lyrics I remember towards the end of the hook were something a long the lines of “I’d call out for help but can’t stand hearing crickets”

What do y'all think of Ella taking the top spot on Apple Music with "Choosin' Texas" in all genres? I think it's awesome a country artist is at the top in all genres again.

One of many great songs by the legendary Randy Travis. Im from a different country and culture yet his words always affect my soul and i find myself somehow relating to his song and understanding the meanings he wants to convey God bless him and God bless country music.
