Has anyone had or seen a wedding guest portrait lounge instead of a traditional photo booth?

Our wedding planner recommended this as an activation where a professional photographer sets up a backdrop takes pictures of guests throughout the evening (only 5:30-8pm so wouldn’t affect dance vibes). The photos are edited on-site, printed and framed as 4x6s for guests to take home w/ digital uploads as well.

Our wedding is at a restaurant in the mountains so I want to make sure there is enough going on. My fiancé thinks it won’t be used that much and it’s kinda boring.
