Hiking, anyone welcome

Hey everyone!

I'm looking for some people to go hiking with from time to time. I'm an 18-year-old guy living in the Oberaargau region of Switzerland.

I speak English, German, Swiss German, and a bit of French (I understand it very well).

As long as you're not trying to kill me or harvest my organs, we'll probably get along. 😅

If you're nearby and interested in hitting some trails together, send me a DM or leave a comment!

Climbing Companions Glasgow

Good evening folks.

It's been a year since I moved to Glasgow from Belfast, a year I have really enjoyed, unforunately however my avid harnessed rock climbing taken a serious dip, as my buddy is still in NI.

I was wondering if there were any folks interested in meeting up to do some climbing at Glasgow Climbing Centre in the next few weeks? I'm fairly experienced having done lots of trad in the Mournes, and so you're safe belaying with me. Bouldering if fine, but I must prefer the teamwork and thrill of the heights.

For context I'm a 24 year old fella studying PG Scots Law at Glasgow Uni. I'm definitely not the most graceful, or skillful climber, but I'm an enthusiast nonetheless.

HMU if you'd be interested in a few skuttles up the wall.

Mt Adams or St Helens Partner August/September

26M, no mountaineering experience, been doing a ton of hiking in the Adirondacks for the last 6 months or so. Would like to try the next step up. Anyone else in a similar boat would love to partner up and tackle this together, or anyone more experienced that wouldn’t mind having me tag along would be great too! Ideally first week in August but can be flexible through August/September.

Longmont, CO partner search

Hi there! I’m (F27) relatively new to the Longmont area and looking for a consistent lead partner. I’ve been climbing for ~8 years and most of my experience is with trad and sport. I also enjoy bouldering, though I do it less outside.

I have a Longmont Climbing Collective (LCC) membership, and my ideal partner is someone who’s psyched and pushes me to try my hardest. Would also love to get outside if we’re a good fit!

Looking for climbing partner/team for Mt Baker. I took a glacier skills course in March but haven’t spent actual time on a glacier before. I’d refresh my skills over the next couple weeks. I rock climb and backcountry ski, now looking to climb Mt Baker via the Easton Glacier route. 20 M based out of Salt Lake City. Climb would be between August 9th-15th.

Looking for Bouldering Friends in the Duisburg/Düsseldorf Area

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to get back into bouldering after taking a few years off and would love to find some people to climb with regularly.

I used to spend a lot of time bouldering in Düsseldorf, but these days I'm based in Duisburg and already know a few good spots around the area. More than anything, I'm hoping to meet some new people, enjoy the sport together, and maybe build a small group that meets up on a regular basis.

With summer starting, it feels like the perfect time to get active again. Besides climbing sessions, it would also be great to grab food afterward, plan day trips, check out new gyms, or just hang out and do other sports-related activities.

A little about me: I'm 25 years old, athletic, easygoing, and generally enjoy staying active. I'd consider myself a returning climber rather than a complete beginner, but you definitely don't need to be an expert.

If that sounds interesting, feel free to send me a message or leave a comment below!

Hey zusammen,

Tacoma WA for indoor + out

Hi family,

I climb indoors ~twice a week, weekday early evenings at edgeworks tacoma.

Happy to add more to the indoor crew, or just meet and greet to plan some outdoor - local & destination.

I like to lead easy sport stuff & top rope in the 10s. Just started multipitching this year and I'm loving it. Afraid of heights and enjoy fear management. Have gear.

Usually get out a handful of times a year. Join for red rocks vegas, October this year!

Every demographic / experience level is warmly welcomed. No deadline on this ad.

Looking for a bouldering partner/group in albarracin - early august

Bouldering partner in Albarracín – beginning of August
I’m an 18 year old guy from Poland arriving in the beginning of August. I will spend a few days there and my exact dates are flexible. I can adjust them a bit to match with someone interested.

I am looking for someone to split the cost of renting crash pads with. It would be even better if you already have some. I mostly climb easier stuff, 7a/7b is my maximum. I am pretty new to outdoor bouldering but I have been doing lead outdoors for a while.

I really want to respect the rules there, no night climbing and only in allowed areas. Planning morning and late afternoon/evening sessions because of the heat.

Trying to keep it cheap with camping where allowed and cheap motels otherwise. I know a bit of Spanish.
If you are interested, message me. Happy to share more details.

People needed for Rock climbing/Rappelling the Faroe Islands on 31 July to hit the operator's minimum (need 6 more!) - once in a lifetime thing, no prev experience needed

We booked a sea-cliff rock climb in the Faroe Islands for 31 July. They have an 8-person minimum and we are 2, so the trip only happens if we can fill 6 more spots.

No previous climbing experience needed. The operator brings all the gear, sets the anchors and runs every climb top-rope. They take complete beginners on this regularly.

It's the kind of day people remember for decades. Climbing a cliff face with the ocean directly below you and puffins on the rocks.

Cost per person works out around £50-60, split evenly across the group.

DM me if you'll be in the Faroes around then, or planning to be!

UPDATE: NEED 3 MORE PEOPLE NOW
