We usually stay in Pacific Grove during Christmas week but we’re thinking it might be great to spend 2026 Christmas in Cambria. Is there anyplace in the area that does a Christmas brunch?

Planning an engagement trip and I would like to stay somewhere nice. It’ll be in December so it will be quite cold. We would like a hot tub onsite, and a nice breakfast available. Also looking for hotels with good spas, or other spa recommendations in the area. Would like the hotel to be centrally located, but a short drive is not a deal breaker. I just want the vibe to feel relaxing and romantic.

Live in south county but have family set on living in cambria. They plan on buying a home that will need renovation and a general contractor.

Any advice on contacts for an honest and professional agent and contractor I can point them toward (or away from)?

I have had a really stressful year that has been impacting my physical health and will finally get a break in my schedule next month. I am planning to stay in Cambria three nights and plan to decompress.

Can anyone tell me what the daily commute from Cambria to Paso? How often and bad is the fog and are there any other issues?

Hi, I hope everyone is staying safe in that area. I live in Los Angeles and was planning to visit Cambria this Friday. It’s my first time, and I’ve really been looking forward to a weekend away. How close is the Gifford Fire, and would you recommend postponing my trip?

Earlier this year, I went through the Palisades and Runyon Canyon fires and had to evacuate —it was very traumatic. I truly hope these fires are contained soon and that everyone stays safe in your community

The town is beautiful. Everyone I have met so far has been very friendly. I will be looking for some work, at least part time. I have a strong background in carpentry, especially finish carpentry. I was a general contractor. Solid with electrical, painting, and general handyman stuff. Don’t have all my tools with me yet. Might bring them up soon (from San Diego county.)

I’m with family who have lived here about twenty years so I have some “local guides” but I would be interested in hearing about fun things to do or anything else I should know about this place.
