I was watching High Potential and when Willa Quinn popped up on the screen, I really said to myself, "omg it's the Wunch again"....only to later realize it's not her! On the left is Madeline Wunch (Kyra Sedgwick). On the right is Willa Quinn (Jennifer Jason Leigh). I'm going crazy, they gotta be related right?
Anyone else notice? Or am I just living under a rock? 😂

1 - CJ
2- Old Hitchcock and Scully (they could maybe be bumped up with the vulture)
3- The Vulture (does he actually solve anything?)
4- can't think of any specific eg
5- Pimento (his PTSD makes him a liability)
6- no specific eg
7- Hot take, but Rosa (I feel like the others above had better solves)
8- Charles + Flat top and the Freak
9- Amy and Terry
10- Holt and Jake

Well not exactly - Vacation by The Go-Go's came on which is the song staycation is based on! Truly did not know it was a real song so I just so confused and then laughed to myself. Did everyone else know this??

Scully, Hitchcock and Amy sitting together, talking, laughing. I wonder what they are talking about 🤔

We have the lovable oaf with a litany of health issues Scully, and the barely tolerable and perverted oaf Hitchcock. So how would Daniels have fit into the dynamic, and with the precinct as a whole?

Does anyone here know the name of the song that’s on in the background when Doug Judy’s pre-recorded video starts playing at the end of the episode? It sounds really familiar and I’ve been trying to figure it out for months! Instrument sounds like a weirdo kazoo or something

Holderton was a detective in 1995 and in 2015 he’s still a detective in the same precint? Compare that to Terry who changed precints and became a Sergeant in the same amount of time. The only real blemmish on Terry’s long list of accomplishments is him “getting the wrong acrobat and accusing the cat”. Heck, the fact that they keep reminding of that mistake for 20 years really displays how they have nothing better to do.

obviously this doesnt apply to all sitcoms but to me what made Brooklyn nine nine stand out is 2 things, the first being that despite being a comedy and having goofy moments all of the characters are competent and good at there jobs, even Hitchcock and scully have their moments, and the second and most importantly they werent afraid to make changes to make the world feel realistic and lived in, the characters werent just stuck doing the same things for 10 years in a row, it felt like all of the characters had a realistic movement in life, holt being demoted multiple times to change squad dynamics, Amy becoming a Sargent, terry becoming a lieutenant, boyle finding a stable relationship and becoming a dad, jakes maturity and his eventual relationship and marriage with Amy and so on, it made it so that you wanted to watch every episode because they were all important to the story, something interesting could happen at any moment, where as a show like friends you could miss 10 episodes and absolutely nothing would have changed in the show

For humour reasons i am going to explain something i noticed in this episode. Jake keeps saying it's a reverse slump (pmuls). Which he pronounced perfectly as a Dutch word meaning male genitalia in a somewhat child like version. I thought Jake would love this

My partner isn't as into 99 as I am but she tolerates my constant quoting for the show. She pointed this out to me today and started singing
