Hi! There’s a video I’m sure I watched, in which the YouTuber explained how white people are not a group (as opposed to Black people). They said that it’s because whiteness can only be defined negatively (meaning it needs an out-group and the definition is basically “not the out-group”). They explained how this meant that the group could be widened and narrowed. Widened in the pursuit of power (like adding the Irish to prevent Black Liberation if I remember correctly) and narrowed once power is achieved. I think one example in the video was a thought experiment about what would happen if white supremacist got a white ethnostate; that they would start making the criteria more narrow to create a new out-group. They also talked about how there’s no white culture and rather the specific culture of a country of origin.
In the time I watched the video I watched a lot of F.D. Signifier, Khadijah Mbowe, Foreign Man in a Foreign Land, Shanspeare, Shaun and Innuendo Studios. Maybe it‘s by one of them and I missed it while scrolling through their pages??

Btw there’s a good chance I butchered some or all of these statements, which is partly why I‘m looking for this video again; to learn it more thoroughly and take notes and stuff.

Wilson's views are as controversial as they come: He believes the United States should become a Christian theocracy, that married women should not have the right to vote and that gay sex should be illegal. He estimates that 10 to 20 people in the top levels of government are aligned with his radical ideology. He explains that he thinks trans people are “sad,” certain elements of his idea of “homosexual behavior” should be punished by execution and in certain cases of marital rape, both parties should be disciplined.

I had a youtuber I quite liked, but after she did a whiny post about how people being genocided was so so horrible, for her, and why she couldn't possibly take a stand against genocide, I kind of moved on. But I haven't found any other youtubers which put my brain through the wringer in quite the same way.

Innuendo Studios was great. I liked how he was able to criticize the left without going centrist. but he left the scene, sadly.

Post title, I... Can't remember what video talked about this idea of people having the notion of something being true because it reinforces their world view, rather than it being actually true. I've been trying to find it for about a week to no avail. I'd appreciate any help.

I've been watching Drew for awhile, but I really enjoyed this video. I wasn't expecting a direct reference to Lenin in the video. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy it.
