I used getcovers to create this for me, I am really happy with it, it's a previously published book, but the old cover had elements of the forbidden media in it, known as AI. Their prices are really good and time for initial design and changes are quick as well. I am doing another cover with them because of the great work they did with this one.

I’m currently looking for an illustrator to create the front and back cover artwork for the packaging of my independent fragrance brand.

The perfume box is designed like a hardcover book, and each fragrance is treated as its own Volume in an expanding collection. The artwork is a major part of the experience, I want each box to feel like picking up the cover of a manga, or art book that you’d want to display on a shelf.

The biggest inspiration for this project is manga cover art, I’m looking for artwork that feels like a manga volume cover or collectible art book cover, digital painterly, with expressive brushwork or textured cel shading.

I’ll be providing:

* Character descriptions
* Moodboards and visual references
* The overall world and story behind each fragrance
* Packaging dimensions and layout
* Logo and Typography if Needed

The artwork itself is where I’d love the artist to have full creative freedom while staying true to the world we’re building. The logo and typography will already be established, but you’re encouraged to integrate and position them in whatever way best complements the artwork.

Commercial rights will be required since this will be used on retail packaging.
