What does everyone think of this album now that a bit of time has passed?

It only feels like this record was released less than three years ago but my opinion of it hasn't really changed much. I still think they should have put a few more rock tracks in like st Charles square and written less samey songs like it ended up with. It's not my favourite album of theirs and I hope they write a record which has a lot of variety next time.

I recently bought the Blue-Ray version of "The Ballad of Darren" and i noticed that the foil on "Audio" fell out on the corner on the right, is it classified as a misprint? I put a comparison on the 2nd image

I'm trying to figure out what instrument/effect was used at 03:13 in Blur's <Sweet Song> (from Think Tank)

Right around that part, there's a unique ambient sound/texture that creates a deep, sucking/pulling sensation..

It sounds so incredible and unique to my ears! I really desperately want to know what kind of sound this is!

Is it an actual instrument, a synth/electronic sound, or some kind of special effect? If anyone knows what this sound/texture is called or how it was made, please help me out! I would really appreciate it.

Does anyone know if it’s a full-band show?
I’m hoping so, but the tickets were fairly cheap (just the price of the CD) and I know he does perform acoustically as well as full-band for his solo gigs. If anyone who’s going has found more information I’d love to know.

Southampton Ukulele Jam (SUJ) - Girls And Boys (Blur) live from TriFest community festival in Riverside Park (Bitterne Park, Southampton).

Been sorting through my things and found my Blur ticket from Liverpool Royal Court, 1997. Beetlebum had just been number one and the self titled was a few weeks away. Have to say it was one of the best gigs of my life. Can remember the crowd singing along to Beetlebum and can still feel goosebumbs. You could feel Blur was at a bit of a transition in sound and style... Sneaker Pimps supporting too.

These were the days we're you had to go to the box office to get tickets. I remember my best friends mum dropping us off around 6am so we could queue when tickets went on sale and there was a massive queue for this one. Saw them for Great Escape and Think Tank but this was the best by far!

I'm aware we have a soundboard source of "Come Together", "Never Clever", "Sunday Sunday", "Pressure On Julian", and "Day Upon Day", and we also have full amateur video footage (as well as bits and pieces from the Starshaped documentary).

I'm just wondering if we could ever get to hear the entire gig from the soundboard feed (if it was even recorded in its entirety).

I didnt create this... But I would like to support it even though it was just for fun.. especially after that one recent Gorillaz concert where Damon played Out of Time... Hope this comes true!
