PSA New options for the sub!

Good morning, I just wanted to give a heads up that gifs and user flair for neighborhoods (optional) have been turned on. Hopefully people keep things pg with the gifs so they can remain on. If anyone areas are missing please let us know!

To change your user flair on Reddit, navigate to the subreddit where you want to change it, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, and select Change User Flair. You can then select an existing flair from the list or choose an editable flair to add your own custom text and emojis before tapping Apply.

Step-by-step Guide (Mobile App) Open the Subreddit: Go to the main page of the subreddit for which you want to change your flair. Access the Menu: Tap the three-dots icon ( ... ) in the top-right corner of the screen. Select Flair Option: In the drop-down menu, choose Change User Flair. Edit Flair (if allowed): If the flair you want to select has a pencil icon next to it, you can edit it. Tap Edit in the top-right corner to open the editing interface. Type your desired text and tap the smiley face icon to add emojis. Apply Changes: Tap Apply to save your new flair.

Runway Fashion. Do they take anything?šŸ˜‚

They encourage you to bring ā€œeverythingā€ in, but don’t accept anything. I’ve noticed sneakers in there today that were there 5, 6 months ago. I guess you need to smaller than a size MED in tops, and a max 34 in the waist?šŸ˜‚

Is it a drug front like Party America was? Because… how the hell do they afford to stay open?šŸ˜‚. I kid, I kid.

Resource Request Recommendations for dog sitters that do home visits?

Hi everyone! Does anyone have any pet sitting companies or people that they would recommend for doing drop in visits / overnight visits at home for two small dogs? Rover is an option of course but we’ve had some bad experiences with Rover sitters in the past so we’re a little hesitant to do that again. I’ve found a couple different businesses online that offer those services but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask if anyone has any sitters that they love, especially for senior dogs! Thanks!

Bunny dumped :(

I just saw what I’m pretty sure is a domesticated rabbit in the parking lot between lava island and the extended stay. I couldn’t get a great photo. Black with white front toes. I had no luck catching it. I ended up chasing it towards the end of the parking lot by the fence along the highway. If anyone is good with rabbits I’m sure he would appreciate some food and water.

Hi all! Me and my husband are new to the city and looking for a home to rent. We have narrowed down 2 properties- both being managed by c&h rentals. Before we get in touch with them , we were hoping to find some more information on tenant's experience working with this company. Any information would be extremely helpful !

Thank you so much !

Art/music scene?

Ahoy! My wife and I are moving to Billings for the next year and I was curious if there was a pocket popular with creatives or artists, or to meet people with similar interests? Maybe like a music venue or hotspot for indie bands? Or anything else art related!! I’ve heard good things about Kirk’s Grocery and plan on checking that out! If I have the time I may want to start a band or something myself! We are moving from a college town with a dead music scene since the venue shut down, but with Billings being a bigger town I thought maybe there could be some cool stuff! Thanks in advance :)

Need legal help in Stillwater County.

To keep things vague, l was at work when I got scammed, which was over a year ago, and I received a summons to appear last week. I can go over the gritty details in private. The kicker is I am in the middle of moving to a new home. Any help would be deeply appreciative.

Need help rehoming my dog

After coming to the really difficult decision, I need to rehome my dog.
I’m newer to the Billings area and so I’m not sure of resources to help me rehome him.
I don’t want to take him to a shelter, I’d rather find someone locally who is willing and able to handle him.
He’s almost 1, and a miniature American shepherd.
He’s been through extensive training, is very obedient (when he chooses so or his collar is on) and is e-collar trained. I’m not sure if there’s a rescue I can work with or where I can help find him a home.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Please no hate, I have put my heart and soul into this dog and sometimes things just don’t work out as planned.

Best Roofing Company in town?

So far our best experience has been with Yellowstone Roofing and exteriors. Had a guy out to give an estimate same day. Two other large companies schedule but didn’t show up.

What other companies should be considering?

āš ļøALERTāš ļø Learn your routes, you better learn your routes!

Just a heads up, it really _PAYS_ to know the best routes to take in Billings when you have the potential for flash floods. And by that I mean, never ever ***EVER*** under any circumstances should that include going by PAYS (public Auction Yards), 6th street underpass, or that little rinky dinky one down bybthe old Liberty Vine. This also includes staying off Zimmerman, 6th Ave N, and basically Rimrock so a rock doesn't smush you.

I was grateful to have this knowledge and foresight when there was the 5" monsoon a few years ago. And I sure as eff wouldn't _follow_ anyone thru the underpass—so an Impala ahead of you doesn't chicken out or overestimate their ability and stall out.

Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

PSA Second Hand & Steam on 24th

I’d be Leary of the new second hand store. Run by a gal that isn’t super welcoming and the owner -Shanna or Shawna, is totally racist. My husband is native and I am half black, she made a horrific comment to the lady that runs the store to ā€œwatch them, those types like to stealā€ and pointed right at him.
Only putting this out here so you know who you’re supporting.

If you’re looking for a great tattoo artist go to Ranen at heartfelt club tattoo. He’s very easy to work with, prices are good 150 per hour and always does a great job.

PSA Tell the PSC: don’t make ratepayers fund data centers.

Post image
32 Upvotes

NorthWestern Energy’s 20-year plan is in front of the Montana Public Service Commission — and it leans hard on expensive coal, gas, and nuclear generation to fuel new data centers, while sidelining cheaper wind and solar. If the PSC signs off, Montana ratepayers could be stuck footing the bill.

šŸ“ PSC Listening Sessions: July 21 & 23, 6:00 PM, PSC Office (1701 Prospect Ave, Helena) — or attend virtually
šŸ“§ To join virtually: email [email protected] by 4:30 PM the day before to request a link

This is a statewide decision with statewide stakes. Show up, speak up, or send a written comment — every voice on the record matters.
