Me and many other players that have CTAs during primetime use off hours as a time to fame farm and do small scale/bz/roads roam content to make money to fund CTAs and ZvZ sets.
SBI has now completely decimated the ability to get even a slightly respectable amount of money for solo players/small groups outside of prime time and I think it would be better to just shut the servers down until their respective prime times.
This is a 24/7 MMO and it is now complete shit to play outside of a very specific 4-6 hour window in which I'm not always available due to, I don't know, actually having a life outside of video games.
Imagine if runescape did this - for all wilderness content, drop rates would be reduced according to how many players were online in the world. People would go absolutely ape shit.
This is also not to "combat RMT" (which is their favorite red herring to use) it is actually to make everyone outside of the top 10 guilds (all RMTers) play twice as much to increase their engagement metrics just to end up with the same amount of money OR
Make you swipe to afford your sets because no chest/roam content pays enough anymore.
This also disproportionately affects EU players playing on NA servers, now outside of prime time they not only have no chance of making money with loot but also now nobody will be going for objectives or roaming so they will have nobody to gank or PvP with either.
This change literally only benefits SBI by making you play more for the same amount of loot. They are just slowly moving the goal post more and more every few months to make the game more miserable and long for everyone but the top 0.001% of econ/top 10 guild/RMT players.
Cancelled premium and am just going back to CDs. No point in being in the BZ now at any time of day outside of primetime.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
(but then it turns out that the price on another market is several times lower)

As if it was not already difficult enough for for solo players. We cant gather and farm during peak hours due to all kinds of hazards and gankers. We had to resort to playing when its not as busy, but, now you nurfed drop quality, drop rates, everything is less. Once more people notice what just happened they will stop playing.

Hello everyone, I’ve returned form a quite long time without any notice of Albion i saw faction warfare content and I loved it, right now, I’m at Lymhurst (cos is the faction I was flagged when left) but I was wondering what are the most populated or most active factions. basically just the title i played mists earlier for about 40 minutes and ran multiple small camps a knightfall abbey and got 0 silver minus the 300k i got from a player kill. i managed to grab an open world chest and got like 100k but i could only loot like half of it.
This isnt a one time thing either the past few days ive been STRUGGLING to even find money on the map boss lairs have been giving ~20k and most camps exclusively give tomes. im getting more silver per hour running hunter corrupted dungeons atm. any advice for open world/mist farming is appreciated.
^This is all in the BZ btw^

Hey everyone,
I have a quick question about the inventory “Sort by” option in Albion Online.
Which sorting option do you usually choose, and what does it actually sort by in practice? I am trying to decide whether to use Weight, Tier, Estimated Market Value, or Value by Weight, but I am not sure which one is the most useful for normal inventory management.
Would you recommend one specific option for everyday use, or does it depend on what you are doing?
Thanks in advance!

I feel like I’ve noticed something and I’d like some feedback on whether or not I’m imagining things.
I enjoy gathering in the mists. Sorta thrilling .. sorta empty. But I’ve noticed that whatever tool I take or, God forbid, I wear gathering gear, that resource type is exceptionally rare. I swear if I took all my tools the place would be devoid of nodes.
Take a sickle? Fiber is rare. Don’t take a sickle? I’m tripping over them. No skinning knife? More skinning mobs than I can count. Take a knife? I’ll find a couple but that’s it.

Why is it to hard to move the aim?
I play in android with a controller, and to aim any bow second Q (a linear skill) i literally have to do a full circle because if I move it just the little that it logically should be, it just don't move.
Skills like bows first W are not that bad to manually aim, but the also should be better.
Also, if i keep walking like 3 seconds while aiming the character stop walking... Why?

According to the latest update regarding Dynamic Spawn Rates Changes, most content will now adjust its behavior depending on server activity. However, I really wonder if the dev team considered the unique ecosystem of the Asia Server before implementing this change.
What is the unique ecosystem of the Asia Server? It's simple: a virtually unified, single time zone. I am not sure if SBI realizes that across East and Southeast Asia—where the vast majority of Asia Server players reside—the maximum time difference, even between Japan and Myanmar, is merely 2.5 hours.
As a result, player activity on the Asia Server is heavily concentrated. Everyone’s schedule for work, meals, and sleep is almost identical. When there are no players online, there are truly no players online. Before this update, this was somewhat manageable. But under the new system, daytime and late-night hours on the Asia Server now offer virtually no attractive content to drive players to grind.
Furthermore, even during the peak activity hours (UTC 10:00 to UTC 14:00) when players are most active, the vast majority are engaged in ZvZ. This ultimately leaves the Asia Server dead in the water 90% of the time, with players having nothing to do when they log on.
I can understand that the developers' ultimate goal is to suppress massive hordes of RMT farmers from endlessly running PvE content, which disrupts the normal game economy and SBI's revenue. But with the current approach, isn't it taking things a bit too far?

Ive been playing on and off again for a few years but id still say im a newb. But today i was thinking, after finally asking “where does the loot come from?” And realizing the source is the Black Market. Perhaps the loot supply isnt that good?
This server peak time change got me thinking.
Considering you have to traverse dangerous lethal zones to get to the Black Market. The ones risking their time are much more experienced players. I myself never felt compelled to make the journey.
If you figure how the top tier resources are in gank infested black zones, less combat experienced players that ALSO have the ability to gather those tiers are probably not often going to these places. Unless in groups. And we all know there is somewhat of a solo player epidemic amongst MMOs. Where people like to play alone together.
Maybe the loot pool just isnt that great?
Ive read recently that only 8% of players in Albion have died to another player. Thats low. That also means that many items are not getting trashed.
Could it be that there is an economic problem in Albion? And this shift in peak hours is to both help slow the Black Market drip of high tier loot while also help push more players to PvP, Die, and trash their gear?
