Question Custom case recommendations
I just got AirPod pro 3’s and I’ve been trying to research into getting a case. The design that I was wanting is unique it seems so I think it would have to be commissioned. Do you know anyone who commissions cases? I know Amazon has the “add image and text” options but I didn’t want to do that and it look funky. Anything helps!

Advice Brand new AirPods causing phone to slow down and not play media?
This is the first time I’ve seen this issue before. I just bought a brand new pair of Second gen AirPod pros sealed box and everything. When I paired them I heard a weird paring noise but I didn’t think much of it. After having listened to music for about 10 minutes it just stopped. Now whenever I try to watch yt with them paired none of the videos work. When I try to listen to music nothing plays. It keeps saying “disconnecting” whenever I am looking at the Bluetooth menue. Overall it seems to also be causing my phone to slow down as well. Just curious if there are any solutions yall can think of.

Question Airpods pro 3 making a weird sound out of nowhere and pausing when I walk away from my phone
This is my first day of using my airpods pro 3. I used to use my old galaxy buds pro2 with my iphone, since I switched back to iphone and got a macbook and thought it's worth giving pro 3 a try. To be honest galaxy buds 2 pro sounded a bit clearer for podcasts and audiobooks. It's like it's set on low quality audio mode or something. maybe it needs to be updated or something.
But other than that, when it's in my ear and I'm not doing anything, I just hear this sound, I'm not switching between any modes, I'm not putting any pressure on it. It's just there in my ears canceling the noise and then it gives me this notification sound of it doing something which I don't know what it is.
Does anyone know the problem?
Also btw, It doesn't automatically switch between my iPhone and Mac. I had to pair them separately and haven't seen it switch. Extremely disappointed and on the fence about this.

Advice Pro 3s constantly disconnecting from one another
Hi all, I know this might be a firmware issue, but my AirPods are constantly unpairing from one another when I take them out of the case. I have to forget them and reconnect 50% of the time. It’s super frustrating. Any advice?

News Airpods can track frisbee throws
I've invented this. This is more of a fun thing, but I think some people may like it. This is cooler than it seems at the first glance
The airpod streams motion data to the phone and detets/analyses throws in real time. With optional voice feedback into the second airpod. It measures speed, revolutions, airborn time, throw count. It also measures heartrate (either with latest airpods or external HR). And it allows to export sessions to strava

Question how can i fix pro 3’s battery discharge?
The AirPods themselves have excellent battery life and last me a really long time. But the case battery drains way too fast. At this point, I’m not even sure it can provide two full charges for the AirPods from 0% to 100%.
What’s even stranger is that the case battery also keeps slowly draining even when the AirPods are already fully charged or when they’re not in the case at all.

Question air pods 4 suddenly has issue connecting to my phone in the pocket?
My airpods 4, which I've never dropped or spilled water onto, has suddenly started having this connectivity issue when it pauses or makes those metallic/techno sounds when I try to pair it with my phone in my pocket. This happens mainly when I'm out on walks and not inside the house.
Wondering if it's my old gen iphone that's causing this because I have no reason to believe I've damaged my airpods.

Question AirPods case stays at 0% and only works while plugged in. Dead battery or firmware issue?
Hey everyone, looking for some advice before I give up on this case.
I have a pair of AirPods that were sitting unused in a drawer for around six months. I originally thought they were first generation, but the Mac shows model number A2031, so I believe they are actually AirPods 2.

The AirPods themselves seem completely fine.
They charge to 100% and last around 2.5 to 3 hours when I use them. The problem is entirely with the charging case.

Here is what happens:
- The case light only turns on when the case is connected to a charger.
- While charging, the light stays orange and never turns green, even after several hours.
- If I press and hold the pairing button while it is plugged in, the light turns white and pairing works.
- As soon as I unplug the case, there is no light at all. Opening the lid or pressing the button does nothing.
- I can only pair the AirPods with a device while the case is connected to power.
- The can still charge the AirPods while the case is connected to a cable.
- I tried resetting them by holding the button until the light flashed amber and then white, but it made no difference.
I connected them to my Mac to check the battery levels.
The AirPods showed 100%, but the case showed 0%, even though it had been connected to power.
The firmware version is also very old: 2D15.
I am wondering whether the dead case battery is preventing the firmware from updating, or whether the old firmware could somehow be causing the incorrect 0% reading.
Could the case still receive a firmware update while connected to power, even if its internal battery is dead? Or does this sound like a completely failed case battery or charging circuit?
Has anyone experienced the same situation?
Is there anything else worth trying, or should I just replace the case?

Discussion Really Weird Noise Cancelling Bug?(Noise Cancelling varies in strength depending on which mode you start it from)
I have the AirPods Pro 3 in 8B41 and it seems to vary in Noise Cancelling effectiveness depending on which mode I was in before I switch to it for some reason???
Having it be in Off(Requires you turn it on from the airpods settings) and switching to NC gets much stronger Noise Cancelling than switching it to NC from Adaptive mode.
Off to NC>Transperancy to NC>Adaptive to NC in terms of noise cancelling strength, from what I can hear.
Could you try this with your pair as well? Seems very strange, and I'd like to see if anyone can replicate it.
The best conditions to replicate are a steady noise(such as a fan or an AC).
You need to change the mode directly from the volume slider in control center.(Switch to a mode, and then immediately switch from that one to Noise Cancelling)
Don't have anything playing to notice the effect better.

Question Airpods pro 2 ne chargeant plus

Question AirPods 3 microphone activates late
Hi guys, I need help with my AirPods 3.
Basically, a few days ago, the microphone started working and turned on with a delay. To explain, the "Hey Siri" command no longer works when I'm wearing the headphones. If I hold down the button on the earbuds, Siri activates, but it doesn't hear me immediately—in fact, it doesn't receive commands. I have to wait a few seconds before it can hear me. The same thing happens when I answer a call. At first, they hear me from far away, but then it sounds normal, as if the earbuds' microphone started working properly again.
I've tried unpairing them, turning my phone's Bluetooth off and on again, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it?
Thank you in advance.

Question Weird, gray, spill-looking stain on Pro 3 case - No clue how to remove. Any ideas?
Hi guys,
I’ve had these Pro 3s for a good while now, almost a year I think, and a few months ago this weird gray stain came out of nowhere. It looks like something been spilled on it? I’ve tried isopropyl alcohol on the case but it’s not budged at all. I’ve looked around online and i’ve not seen anything like it.
I genuinely have zero clue how this happened lol. If anyone has any advice on what I could do to remove it, i’d love to hear it, before I revert to paying the £79 to get a new case (no AppleCare+ sadly)

Discussion pro 3 battery life
How long does the case last from one charge? How actively do you use headphones?
I bought my airpods 3 pro 4 or 5 days ago and I think the case is discharged very quickly, I have already charged to 100% twice these days (the first time after purchase, the second time yesterday, because my charge dropped sharply from 60% to 30%, although the headphones were not used), despite the fact that I used headphones for a total of about 10 hours for all these days ..
Also the case slowly loses charge during the day, it doesn't matter if the headphones are in it or they are in my ears. Is this normal or should I be wary?

Question Super frustrating firmware issue
Hi all.
My AirPod Pro 2s decided that one of the AirPods would update to the beta firmware and the other choose not to and now they won’t play nicely together anymore (i.e., they can’t both play at the same time).
I’ve tried all of the following with no luck:
resetting them;
Deleting them both and trying again;
Leaving the one that didn’t update in the case charging with my phone adjacent overnight multiple nights;
Leaving both in the case overnight with the phone nearby;
Playing the one briefly and plopping into the case…
Not sure what else to do.
I’ve read extensively here and done everything I’ve seen suggested. I asked Claude and tried it’s suggestions and now I’m at a loss.
Ideas?
