The Fun Pimps join Behaviour Interactive, as posted on their YouTube channel. We will see what this means for the future of 7D2D and TFP as a whole.
Edit: It's confirmed to have been an acquisition by Behaviour, not a merger. Source: https://www.gamesindustry.biz/dead-by-daylight-maker-behaviour-has-bought-the-studio-behind-7-days-to-die-to-create-a-portfolio-of-horror-ip
Edit 2: TimRaines shared this link down below. It goes over an FAQ which is handy to read. For example, they have no plans to step away from modding support. Source: https://www.bhvr.com/the-fun-pimps-a-new-chapter-for-7-days-to-die/

I started playing a couple weeks ago (late to the party, I know) and I’m absolutely loving the game. I have two worlds, one with my wife and another on my own. Last night I was in my solo world— I’m about two weeks in. Night time, holed away in my base sorting items and cooking.
All of a sudden I die; scared the absolute SHIT out of me. As I’m sitting there shocked for a few seconds I start to realize what happened. I notice all the text on my chests changed… fuuuuuuuuck, I got griefed. I thought I was offline, but I guess I had made my game public by accident. Someone came in and instakilled me and cleared all of my chests and dropped backpack. I have nothing left.
I was obviously upset but I can only blame myself I guess for not double checking my server status. Just really disappointed. I tried to load a backup but wasn’t successful, so I’m just going to make a new game. Luckily I learned this lesson at two weeks in and not with a long time server. Double checking that I’m offline every time now.
Anyone else had this happen to them? I checked my settings for the server and I’m pretty sure EAC was on as well, but I’m assuming cheaters can bypass that somehow.

Hey survivors,
I updated Curbolt for V3.1.0 Henpocalypse (experimental).
Happy to hear feedback if anything looks off with the new V3.1 content.

My partner and I created a new base in the Wasteland in a 5 orange skull 2 red skull (I think) POI.
Previously, we were in Pine Forest in a 1 red skull base.
Horde night (day 84) was shockingly easy. We were both confused for the first half but figured it would ramp up. But it never did. It didn't feel like there were more zombies or harder ones. In fact, no zombie bears or dire wolves.
My partner asked if I changed the settings, which I had not, because it felt suspiciously easy.
Any insight here?
I was thinking maybe there's built in scaling where your first Horde night on a new landclaim is easier. But we've never heard of that.

My friend and I are playing a random gen world and we decided to set up shop in Goldrush Station because it has a super cool American flag. We have put a lot of work into getting rid of the sandbags and making a 3-high cobblestone wall. We have five land claim blocks that cover up to 10 blocks ish outside the perimeter of the base, but we are having zombies spawn inside the walls of the base wrecking our hopes, dreams, and all future aspirations of existing. What do we do to prevent that?? I Would prefer not to have to floor the base with building blocks unless it is the only option. Any helpful tips would be GREATLY appreciated!!
*Edit - We are only having this issue on horde nights. The land claims are preventing normal zombie spawns.

Just wanted to make this post incase its not known but from my point of view the infection rate sandbox setting seems to be broken.
Started a new dedicated server for 3.0 and wanted to relax the infection settings a bit to make the infection increase more slowly so reduced the value in the sandbox settings from 100% to 50% thinking it will give me more time to find antibiotics and over all require less of them in total.
However it seems it does reduce the rate of infection but also reduces the total amount of infection cure from antibiotics/honey by half as it takes 50% longer to heal so if we use honey for 5% it actually only cures 2.5% of the infection.
This just seems like fun pimps have applied multiple variables to this setting and i wanted to warn others incase they also thought this might help with the sometimes annoying infection mechanic but actually its making it 2x worse.
After testing increasing the value from 100% to 300% i found it massively increases the rate the infection grows but also how quickly it heals from antibiotics which means yes 1 honey is more effective now but if you cannot find the honey which is common early game.
This means you risk having to deal with a rapidly increasing infection before you can find the required item to cure so its just trading one challenge for another instead of making the mechanic easier to deal with which was probably the intention of the setting being added in the first place.
I understand later in the game with the apiary that infection becomes less of an issue but for the first week of the game it is very impactful which to most people is the most fun part so if the fun pimps are looking please change the infection rate of increasing to be separate from the infection cure scaling.

I’m at dr Karen hogwashi residence, I’ve cleared it out, looking to make a sick base, will a land claim claim the whole spot( underneath facility included) or should I move on?

Has anyone had success in killing bosses/mini bosses solo? If so does anyone have any tips? Anytime I’m in any biome besides the forest at night I get slaughtered constantly

I wanna keep the map I have with all of the stuff like my base but start with a brand new character. Is that possible?

Hello people, I am playing on Nomad in a random world.
I have Strength maxed with Sledgehammer and Shotguns, miner 69, STR mastery and 3 on the one that gives more minerals.
For other perks one on medium armor, one on cooking and 3 on farming.
Where to go from here to keep having more fun? Fortitude for tankiness is possibly best, I also enjoy shooting with the shotgun though.
I am at tier 4s in quests, close to starting on 5s.
I am interested on making immersive horde bases but after trying one and almost dying like 10 times I do the funnel ones. That's easy, though boring.
I can take on wights and many of the colored zombie ones (pause) and ferals. A direwolf or zombie bear would fuck me up though without range and the wood traps.

Red Mesa and T3 Infiltrator. Great combo. I got 142 free hubcap landmines, after a bunch were used up on zombies. Just cost a little scrap iron to repair the few damaged ones.

I lost track of time and forgot that the Blood Moon rises tonight. I'm in the starting town where my horde base is, I've got a minibike and I'm about 3.2 KM from where all my good supplies are. The time is about 13:00.
If I drive with the supercharger going the whole way, can I go get my supplies and get back to the horde base before the zombie rush begins? Or am I cooked?

i have a simple design. ramp up, electric fences to allow quick headshots. now. 99% of the zombies go up to the platform to get killed, im anoyed by that 1% tho. although i know its pretty much imposible that 2-3 zombies hitting the base will colapse it i still get anxious hearing them hit the base (and what would happen on future days when i get the infernal zombies?).
i been thinking of putting shotgun or smg turrets looking at the walls since i saw some posts where they told that turrets arent actively targeted by zeds unless in "rage" mode. but i wonder if there's a method to ensure that i dont have a zombie constantly hitting the walls of my base during the full horde night

Been playing couch coop and been having a lot of fun!
Noticed as I was building a base there’s quite an increase in lag.
I know the legacy console edition is pretty old and laggy for the most part, but are there any things to avoid/minimize when building to make it more playable?
Should I keep the base in one region and have a mine/other things elsewhere?
Should I grow plants on my base or move them somewhere else?
Does adding light sources cause lag? should I just rock a mining helmet 24/7?
Any advice is appreciated!
