Disclaimer: I well aware there will be people with snide remarks about this platform being desperate to become an evo. I'm not doing an evo conversion. simply swapping my engine for a better one.

There is a Lancer 7th gen (known as Lancer Cedia GT 2.0 in some regions) that houses an NA DOHC 4G63. I drive a Lancer 7th gen with the 4G18 engine, and GT 2.0 appear to share the same CS3 chassis code so I'd like to know what process will be involved if: I swap to the GT NA 4G63+GT trans or 4G63T+GT trans will it be an 'out with the old, in with the new' Chris Fix scenario, especially.

i own a 4g eclipse gs (2007) and a few days ago my car jerked rlly hard and went into limp mode, i got it out of limp by draining the battery and reconnecting it but now the car is constantly jerking and going into high rpm’s, it still goes into limp mode if i leave it in drive, but if i shut the car off and turn it back on it will temporarily fix it. and if i slap shift i can avoid it going into limp. the car jumps hard and has delayed shifting when i speed up at stop signs or even just going uphill, or if im in a higher gear and press the pedal harder for it to down shift it jerks rlly hard. I’m currently stressing about money and need to find out if this is a fix i can do soon, my gf is 3 months pregnant and we just moved out of a ran down trailer and am now paying rent. so money is tight and this is my only car. i desperately need help and a big thank you to anyone who can talk me thru some pointers on how to fix if it’s fixable.

So my car ran out of fuel and would not start after adding fuel so i replaced the fuel pump and now its still not startting and its giving p513

I’m planning to scrap my Mitsubishi Lancer 9 and wanted to check if anyone needs parts from it before it goes to the yard, and also get some advice on what’s most worth removing.

Car details:

• Model: Mitsubishi Lancer 9
• Engine: 4G63, 2.0 petrol
• Power: 99 kW
• Transmission: Manual
• Odometer: 182,058 km

The car is running, but it has serious rust issues on the structural parts (front spring seat, floor, etc.), so it’s no longer worth fixing for me and will be scrapped soon.

If you’re in Latvia (or nearby and can arrange pickup/shipping) and need anything from a Lancer 9:

• Comment or DM what part you need
• Add your offer price
• I’ll check condition, send photos, and we can agree on a price if it makes sense

Big stuff like engine/gearbox/suspension will still be on the car for now, but I can remove parts if the offer is reasonable.

Question for people with experience

For those who’ve parted out / scrapped Lancer 9s (or similar Mitsubishis):

What are the most valuable parts to pull off before sending the shell to the scrapyard?

Things I’m already thinking about:

• Engine (4G63, 2.0 petrol, 182k km)
• Manual gearbox
• ECU / electronics
• Headlights / taillights
• Interior bits (seats, steering wheel, cluster, trim, etc.)
• Wheels
• Anything else that’s surprisingly valuable for these cars?

I’m trying to balance time vs. money – don’t want to completely strip the car for weeks, but also don’t want to throw away parts that could be sold for decent money.

Any advice on what usually sells best / for the highest price on these Lancers is very welcome.

Basically I'm as you can see on a budget and I know the basic breakdown of what I need to buy to get this making all the right noises, I'm not looking for a monster I just know with a small amount of work I could be smiling every drive.

It's the specific turbo that will work best and which components are compatible, evo 8/9 it's a 2005 lancer!

I have a 2016 sxt swap the engine is 6.4 2017 the whole front and rear end is swapped . The car wants to start but seems like it doesn’t want to catch gas I was using computers with different vins from the engine . Need help

So I own a 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 4g63 na 135hp stock on engine mods.

I only have a k&N fiter in the stock box. 2nd Cat deleted (the one under the car) resonator deleted, larged Stainless steel pipe and Cobra Sport Backend Exhaust.

I wanna do some mods to it to increase the power but I am not sure what to do.

If you have any builds done or ideeas I would very much appreciate it.

I live in Europe and I swear I can't find anything for this car, is like a hidden gem 🤣🤣

Aaand if you want to say "turbo swap it" which I am not sure as at that point I could just buy a 4g63T engine and it would be much cheaper. But if you wanna help and don't know what to say anything else than turbo swap, at least help me with an exact list of things to get.

Hey I’m owner of 2003 mitsubishi outlander 1 and my ignition coils are failing after just 5000km. Engine is working perfectly fine not overheating or vibrating. Any ideas what could be the issue?

After engine swapping a 4g63 to my lancer it won’t start. It does crank but it’s not pumping gas nor giving out electricity in the tension wires. Any idea what might be the cause?

I’m new to this and honestly a bit lost. I have a 2019 Mercedes G63, and I’ve been thinking of upgrading the look, something like Brabus or Mansory style kits.

I’ve checked a few shops here in Dubai some are crazy expensive, others are super cheap, and now I’m confused about what’s real carbon fiber and what’s just fiberglass or knockoff stuff.

How do I even know what’s genuine? Any recommendations? Good shops that are fair with pricing and quality?
Not looking to get ripped off, but I also want something that looks clean and aggressive.

I want to know if it is possible to take a c200 kompressor supercharger and install it on a 4g63 16v sohc na engine, and what else needed to be changed/modified to make it compatible. My engine is making at the moment 90 kw. I have yet to upgrade the exhaust system and some minor performance improvements i.e. cam, intercooler better ignition leads, removing viscous fan and swap for electrical and all the changes paired with it Bear in mind i'm NOT chasing big numbers on the dyno like 200 or more kw's just want to bring it up to 110 kw, 130 kw at the most

My 2001 mitsubishi galant 2.0i started making these noises and vibrating a lot if anyone has any idea what is the cause or how to fix it i would really appreciate it also the check engine light came on

So I’ve acquired a 03 eclipse gs with a 5 speed manual and the 2.4 4g64, I also have the opportunity to purchase a cheap 2nd gen (97 I think) 4g63t (7 bolt) fwd auto. I’m wanting to know if I could swap the manual transmission out of the 03 and into the 97, cuz finding a manual swap for the 97 would be hell from what I can tell.

I also know that some guys will run a 64 block and a 63 head, anybody got more info on those builds?
