I recently got a sd card and modded my 2ds, but I want to transfer my data from my og card to my new modded card (that already works, I have installed games and played them). I have tried copying my data from the og card to my pc, then on to the modded card, then i tried removing all the data from the modded card adding the unmodded data to it, then when i put that into my 2ds none of my og data came up. I looked online everywhere and nothing has worked so if anyone who knows how to fix this please help me!

Got a used 2ds LL in Japan just 3 days ago. Followed the online guides and was successful to install CFW and to change the region to European.

Today I got the clear case and a 64gb card. I got a 4gb card with the system and was able to transfer everything by simply copy and paste over to the new card on my computer.

I got the basic FBI, universal updater and stuff.

What else does the 3ds homebrew community suggest to install?

Asking because I only have one device that can read SD cards, which I'll be selling soon. Will I need to access the SD card after modding?

So this app does stuff like removing backround activity like home menu to increase Ram so your Game doesn’t freeze each 30 seconds to do a ram flush, also, selecting games to do stuff like removing background activity or using extra clock speed on games that don’t use it when you boot so you don’t need to enter rosalina to do it, I’m not a smart dude for creating stuff and don’t know the stuff the the 3ds entirely, so extra preformance boosting stuff can be added!

so a friend of mine has this game, on his 3DS and I wanted it but he said that he didn't have the installation file. is there a way to get the file extracted as a cia? this is so I can play it without the cartridge.

Weird situation here. I am currently in the process of replacing ​my top screen so bear with me.

I was draining my battery as much as possible before I replaced it because it was kinda swollen, so I would turn it on, let itself turn off, and repeat. After doing this a few times (at the point where it could only boot the home menu for a second or two), I turned it on and got this.

So, I have done research on what a prefetch abort kernel panic is. It seems to be that it is some sort of near-fatal or fatal hardware issue that cfw detects, shutting down the console to protect it. It also seems that it is almost never an issue with the battery. (Important to n​ote once again​ that I was draining the battery.)

But the odd thing is, after letting it sit for a couple hours, I turned it on again and lo and behold, it booted straight to the home menu (albeit for an extremely short period of time because... battery). After doing the whole turn on and let it drain process a few more times, I got the screen again. Waited for a couple more hours before turning it on again and it was fine.

After this I was extremely cautious when turning it on and did the process slowly and intentionally. After those couple of incidents, it seemed to be fine. My 2dsxl is currently under construction and waiting for a part so I can't test at the moment. I have saved a dump though.

Does anyone have any idea a) what caused this and b) if my console is actually in grave danger? This is my beloved console of 7 years and really want it to be okay.

Hey guys I just wanted to ask if there's literally anything I can do to start cleaning out unnecessary Nand. Most of this is from games I had deleted and didn't realize the Nand wouldn't be deleted with it. Now I have literally no games and all this Nand, but I haven't wanted to touch it because I don't know how to differentiate what I need and don't need. Any advice?

I am trying to make a full 3ds NES emulator based in olc's NES YouTube development series. (And i know there are hundreds of NES emulators for 3ds outside but its a fun Project :)

I found sonic CD on universal uploader on my 2ds and installed it but the game doesn't run and idk what emulator I have to install

I would love to be able to play swapdoodle with my girlfriend. We were wondering if there was anything like it in the homebrew store or if there was a way for us to play swapdoodle on our hacked 3DS.

What's the best way to play mc on the o3ds xl cuz theres a few homebrew versions that have released. Or is it just not viable?

So i was setting up my cousins 2ds xl with homebrew, everything went fine just like it did for my own 2ds I did prior. When I got to finalizing with godmode9 in scripts, i ran it and found out the sd card my little cousin gave me was full and only had 1.2 gigs instead of the 1.3 required for god mode 9 which is unlucky. It caused the setup to fail and prompted me to delete the content in the sd card to free up space which were alot of random videos, however when I tried running godmode again it didnt work, eventually i found 3ds hacks guides troubleshooting for this issue but that was long after I tried redoing the setup, I was stuck for hours and relied on just trying again deleting the whole sd card and wiping the ds. But even after trying the whole setup again I got back to gm9 and this time finalize wasnt there my only options were to setup Nand and general gm9 files like injecting FBI and HS, which neither would work so the troubleshooting guide from 3ds hack guide wouldnt have worked now. Basically Im stuck and the furthest I get is to gm9 and it dosent even install automatically anymore after setting up mset9 and luma, I have to manually put the folder in now for some reason. 1 thing spiralled into another and im stuck with more issues than just the one and I wanted to see if theres either someway to undo this mess or completely wipe the 2ds and not just factory reset I mean get luma, rosalina, and all other peripherals off of it idm resetting it fully it basically has nothing on it. If somehow anyone knows how to help w this please lmk.
