One minute I'm cruising up I-85 and the next I'm being pushed violently to the right, with the sound of crunching metal. It was difficult getting the Z under control and in the emergency lane.

Thank goodness there was no one on my right or the 18-wheeler would have made me into a sandwich. The truck driver said he checked his mirror and didn't see anything so he moved into my lane. I am very careful to not get in the blind spots of any trucks, but I never saw him, he just slid up on my left and then tried to eat my car.

The local shop says $13K to fix my 2011 roadster, so I'm guessing their insurance will total it. Still waiting on them. The big surprise was the suspension damage. The wheels looked clear to roll, and I made it back in traffic, but once I hit 55 mph I noticed that I was having steering issues. I was 2.5 hrs from home, but I made it with my emergency flashers on the entire time. When I got home I noticed the rear left wheel was canted outward, so there is also damage to the rear suspension.

Be careful out there! Wish I had words of wisdom -- with a small car you are always going to be hard to see.

Every time I park my Z and walk away, I always look back. Every single time I think, "Damn, that's a beautiful car." Am I the only one?

370z started running weird and idling weird after driving perfectly fine all day. turned it off and back on and still continued. drove back home, and on the way there the engine cut power wouldn’t turn back on. obd port won’t work and can’t even connect. will not start, lights all work, batteries good. checked some fuses in ipdm and all were good. genuinely have no idea what happened. first startup after shutting off also sounded weird. video included

Got some performance wheels from a 25 z and put them on my 370z and honestly, im really digging the look of them.

Trunk won’t close, have to fold some napkins over the latch and slam it to keep from bouncing when driving.

What exactly is broken and needs replaced? Hard to find info on this, most people need help opening, not closing the trunk.

Anybody has used or uses regularly the AmsOil "gasoline performance improver," "upper cylinder lubricant" & "engine/transmission flush" products?

What about BG MOA engine oil supplement?

Just curious if they are worth using on a pre-owned Z (under 25k miles) or any sports car after purchasing as cleaning and preventive maintenance. 🤔

Entering the summer with the Wavetrac setup, decided to cut down on some rotational Mass and catch Z1's sale on their 2-piece set up. I was surprised to notice LESS clutch chatter noise after this brake upgrade.

Might be the last post on the 370 until late fall. I'm going to be shifting interest back to the 07 350z Nismo with the new upgrade S.I. blower. I do have to fix the door on that one but there will be some cool posts on that project when I start welding on an exhaust wastegate on the intake side to control boost.

The back up camera on my 2016 370z Nismo has been acting up lately. It starts flickering all of a sudden, the brightness lowers and goes dark, and one time it showed me a blue screen. Do you all think it might be a loose connection somewhere or is the camera going bad ?

I read about the paper oil gallery gaskets and I bought a metal kit. I've taken it to a local shop that specializes in Nissan. They said the 2011 models already has metal oil gallery gaskets. Everything I've read online said that only 2012 and up have the metal gaskets. Are they just not wanting to do the work?

Little bit of a late start in the spring, but spent a majority of it getting the Wavetrac set up and using a few shops in the area to check my work. For the most part, all is legit... I used my 07 Nismo diff for the 370 TT set up for the lower gears. Makes 1st gear so much more usable. (350 got a 370 rear end for the S.C. set up). Fully rebuilt, all new bearings and seals .. but I kept the pinion ring gear and such to try to cheat. Back lash was pretty good, .007/.008, but she does make a whine. Total bearing preload set to ~ 30-35 in/lbs

Reached out to Setrab to get adapters for other oil filter types. Im now running an M22 and keep to the 10-19 psi bypass valve set filters

Sebastian gave me a 12 PSI spicy tune that I've been logging with... Does lean out to indicate the fuel return kit needs to go in. I'll open up a new session with Seb on the e85 sensor kit I grabbed from him. Will be the next updates.

other than that, she has been ripping. no leaks, no issues. just did some maintenance and checked all filters and check valves to the turbos... my welds haven't fell off.. haha. this would put the kit at about 3k miles, she just turned over 24k

So I just bought this 370z on saturday for 16k. The car drove fine during the test drive and I drove it for most of the day on saturday night and yesterday. I had no problems. Im driving to work and I hear a weird noise. I put the clutch in and it just didnt come back up. Looked it up and its a bad slave cylinder. I know im going to have to take it to a shop and get the transmission out. Brake fluid is leaking.

Hello, was about to buy the Motordyne Shockwave for my Z here but had a quick question for anyone whos bought directly from them. On their website after shipping its only about $2700 and there seems to be no tax involved, I just want to know if thats the case since that is a lot cheaper than Z1 if tax isnt included.

Does anyone that has the pressurized coolant reservoir know which cap goes on it? Currently have 88kpa on engine and 137kpa on reservoir. Coolant keeps being tossed from overflow after topping off.
