We are now down to the Final showdown, and it's a doozie:
Representing the USN, we have their pioneering Battleship Iowa (9) who came out on top with a dominant win over Suzuya (21), 29-20.
Repping the IJN, we have the Light Carrier Zuihou (30) rising from an emphatic upset over last year's runner-up Yahagi (10), 29-23.

Good to see this year's final isn't yet another Battle off Samar historical reenactment (it's a Battle off Cape Engaño historical reenactment instead this time around). It's getting boring after back to back years of that.
