The Truth was a mysterious super-powered prophet of doom who triggered a horrible accident in the New York subway, using his corruptive psionic touch to overwhelm a train conductor with despair, causing him to speed up and crash. The survivors of the crash suffered from self-mutilation and violent behavior at the scene. The Truth retreated to the tunnels deeper in the subway, where he became surrounded by vagrants suffering from nervous breakdowns due to his abilities.

Tall, gigantic, long haired thug were the best to describe this villain. Moon Knight found him not-so alone below New York City's subway, surrounding himself with a batch of fresh, bleeding victims. Believing his own ideology of the world as what was the most correct, The Truth enforced his own believes through glowing touch of his hand. Enduring his mind projection for too long could cause an individual drown in insanity, to the point of suicide.

• Grabs Moon Knight by the neck before he can react and lifts him off the ground and almost chokes him to death. ^{Moon Knight #189}

Regeneration

• Two crescent darts through the eyes briefly kill him ^{Moon Knight #189} however he shows up mostly healed the next day. ^{Moon Knight #191}

The Truth's Touch

• When exposure is prolonged, victims begin to bleed from their eyes and exhibit violent behavior and self-mutilation. Extended exposure can even lead to suicide due to the overwhelming visions. ^{Moon Knight #189}
• Can also compel victims to confess their sins or secrets. ^{Moon Knight #189}
• Causes Moon Knight to believe he is a "mad circus clown" and that there is no Khonshu. ^{Moon Knight #189}
• [Weakness] The Truth's powers are less effective against mentally unstable individuals, such as Moon Knight.. ^{Moon Knight #189}
• He can read at least some memories, as shown when Jake forced him to experience Jake's own "truth".. ^{Moon Knight #189}
• [Weakness] The Truth cannot fully control his power, and people near him can be affected simply by being near him, such as when Bushman revealed his feelings about Marc/Moon Knight ^{Moon Knight #191} this can also happen to multiple people at the same time who are in the same room. ^{Moon Knight #192}
• He was briefly able to control Marc after being drugged by Ernst, which presumably strengthened his ability. ^{Moon Knight #200}
